Donations for Haiti - Ambiance Lounge, Stone Mountain, GA

A friend sent me this information.  It's a departure from sports talk, but I feel this is more important.  Please feel free to share this with everyone you know, especially those in the Atlanta area.

Together we can make a difference.

Although some of us have given financial contributions, many people have expressed a desire to do more to help the relief efforts in Haiti. We will be collecting specifically requested items to support the relief efforts in Haiti this Sunday during the playoffs from 1pm-8pm at the Ambiance Lounge. The management at Ambiance Lounge has graciously offered their space as a drop off point. These items will be given to Hosea feed the Hungry, a local non-profit that is working in conjunction with a charity delivering items directly to the people of Haiti to assist in the relief effort.

Some of the items needed include:

-Water and non-perishable food items
-Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing including undergarments and socks
-Men’s, women’s and children’s shoes of all sizes
-Blankets
-Sleeping bags
-Medical Supplies including: Vitamins ( adult, children, prenatal), Pain Medicines (only OTC), Bandages, Ear Drops, Disinfecting Wipes, Antibiotic Creams and Ointments (e.g. Neosporin and triple ointment), Alcohol and Peroxide
-Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
-Soap
-Towels and Washcloths
-Sheets
-Hand Sanitizer

Please support this effort. No matter how big or small every contribution counts.
