Recipe for January 22, 2010 Sports Cynts Show

I've lost someone in my family who I was very close to.  Therefore, tomorrow's Sports Cynts show has been cancelled.  I didn't want to leave you without a new recipe for this weekend's Conference Championships, so here is a quick and easy appetizer for you!

Snug Snack
Ingredients
1 12-ounce package cooked sausage or cooked hot dogs
1 8-ounce sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
Dipping sauce of your choice - mustard, bbq sauce, ketchup
Parchment
Baking sheet

Preheat oven to 400° F.
Cut the sausages/hot dogs in quarters lengthwise, then in half crosswise.
Cut the puff pastry into strips 3 inches long and 1 inch wide. Roll the hot dog/sausage pieces in the pastry strips.
Place on the parchment lined baking sheet and bake 15 - 20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

Serve with your choice of condiments for dipping.

AFC Championship:  New York - 14 Indianapolis - 31
